Why We Built This Site
Maryland releases a great deal of court information to the public, but knowing which office holds the piece you need is the hard part. A warrant never sits in one place. The court that issued it controls the charge, the bond, and the recall; the sheriff's Civil Process Division carries out service and can describe what happened when a deputy tried. A bench warrant for a missed traffic date lives in the District Court file, not with the town that wrote the citation. Because Maryland has no public statewide warrant list, it is easy to check one office, see nothing, and assume the record is clean. Case Search compounds the confusion, because it returns case summaries rather than warrant status, and it says so itself. We collected the contact details, portal fields, number formats, and request procedures for each office here, so the first call lands in the right place.
What You Will Find Here

- Outstanding warrants: how to read an Active Warrant Search result and why a missing name proves nothing
- Missed court dates: how Bench Warrant Lookup works in the District and Circuit Courts, and what a recall requires
- Charge-based warrants: how Arrest Warrant Lookup covers probable cause, service agencies, and the federal track
- Resolving a warrant: the steps from hiring an attorney to a voluntary appearance, bond, and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Maryland court, the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, or any other government agency. The limits are real:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm that a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot recall, quash, remove, or clear a warrant in any system
- We cannot post bond or take any payment connected to a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-through at a courthouse
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a particular warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address here is current today
Only the issuing court or the sheriff's Civil Process Division can confirm whether a warrant exists or has been cleared. We can point you to the office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages carry search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those companies run their own services and set their own prices. If a search leads you to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, and that revenue keeps the site available at no cost to readers. We do not control what those tools charge or what their results contain, and a third-party result is not a court record.
